The
equine use of pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) therapy started in the mid 70's when large animal vets and trainers began treating bowed tendons, back, and hip problems years before anyone in human medicine looked at them. At that time EM-PROBE clinicians were interested in human use which excited their interest in these vet uses.
Horses were observed arriving at the clinic unable to bear weight on a leg, yet running across
a 10 acre training area after four days of treatment with EM-PROBE
technology. Healing rates of this magnitude had not been observed
before by our group's members.
Wound healing and other beneficial effects following surgery or open lacerations were observed. This study was
preceded by similar publication by a group at Auburn University.
Small pet owners can get the jump on arthritis, postoperative wound healing and other conditions by using
EM-PROBE to reduce pain and speed up healing. Recently a user returned to her vet with her dog who had undergone recent surgery. The vet was astounded at the healing progress and mentioned it to the owner who related her use of
EM-PROBE beginning right after surgery. Just another satisfied family member, thanks to EM-PROBE Technologies.
Animal Owners can order EM-Probe products through their local veterinary
or affiliated distributors, or order online.
See study completed at Mississippi State University; (Trostel, CT et al, AJVR 64(7); p.845, 2003) indicated greatly improved
strength of sutured wounds and speeds contraction of open wounds.
